This library plugin allows other plugins to behave differently depending on the "environment" where they run.

@OptionalExtension and @OptionalPackage annotations can be used to define a set of required:

  • Plugins.
  • Classes.
  • Variants.

These variants can be activated through:

  • JENKINS_VARIANT environment variable.
  • Jenkins-Variant attribute in META-INF/MANIFEST.MF in the WAR file.
  • Files in $JENKINS_HOME/variants folder.
