  1. Thanks for such a nice plugin (smile)

I will be thankful to you if you provide following Features to Plugin(lightbulb)

    1. This plugin is not available in Promoting a build (promotion of build is enable and want to access in promotion as task)
    2. It will be good if you provide 1 more field of description so that we can write purpose of task or meaning of parameter used in command parameter.

Thanks for very useful plugin (thumbs up)

    1. This plugin is not compatible with Windows Exe Runner plugin. In Build Action Windows Exe plugin is not prompting. Can you please suggest what to do to enable Windows exe runner plugin in Build Action.

      • Visible in build Task
      • But not visible in Promotion Task Action

      1. Hi Arpit Nagar.

        Thank you for reporting.
I has released a new version.
The new version will support the Promoted Builds Plugin.

  2. Does this plugin support running the exe on a slave or only on the master?

    1. Hi Amos,

If the job is running on slave, It will execute exe on slave. [but exe should be present on slave on same location]

  3. Hi @Yasuyuki Saito,

Thanks for such a nice plugin. It works like a charm.

We need a feature of checkbox to "Disable this plugin".

Feature Background : manier times we come to a situation where we need to temporarily disable any plugin, but as Windows Exe Runner plugin does not have this option, we have to delete that step.

And after some time we need to recall that plugin with pre configured data. It will be much better if you provide a feature of "Disable this Plugin" which will by default be false and executed. But if it is checked, this step would not called.

    Any thoughts ??

    Thanks

    Arpit Nagar

      1. Hey,

I  was trying to execute Scaffolding commands on Visual studio Package manager console using AutoHotKey exe.

  5. I have Jenkins Version 2.19.1.

I have installed the Windows EXE Runner plugin and restarted the Jenkins.

But I am not able to see the Windows EXE definer in Configuration -> System Configuration.

Is I am missing somethings here... Please help me.

  6. I am using Jenkins 2.138.3 on Windows 10

I've installed the Windows EXE plugin and I can select it was an option from the 'Add Build STep' menu.

Once selected, the first field is named 'Exe Name' and there is a pull down on the RHS of this box.

I've tried IE, Firefox and Chrome (all recent versions as I have a new laptop) but I cannot enter or select anything in this field.

When I select the pulldown should there be a browse button to navigate to the .exe I want to run ?

Is there a way to paste the path to the exe into this field ?

    Any help appreciated
