How to change your Windows PATH Variable
- Press the Start button.
- Go to the Control Panel.
- Go to System.
- Go to Advanced system settings.
- Click on Environmental Variables... button.
- In the System Variables section, click on the Path variable.
- Click Edit... button.
- Click in the Variable Value: textbox and go to the end of that long text.
- After the last character, type the new directory you want on your path in this form C:\bin
- Finish the text with a semicolon ;
- Click OK and click OK and click OK again.
