This plugins shows Gravatar avatars instead of the generic user image.

Usage

Install the plugin on a Jenkins instance running at least 1.434, and it will automatically show Gravatars for the users that has an email and a Gravatar. No configuration except installing the plugin.

Caveats

The plugin will re-check every 30 minutes to see if any user has configured a gravatar. So if you have configured a gravatar and it does not show up, please wait at least 30 minutes before thinking its a bug.

  1. Would be nice if I could use this plug-in with the LTS version of Jenkins. Is there any hard dependency to 1.434? Or would 1.424.x work?

    Just checking, are you hashing the email address by first stripping out leading / trailing spaces then converting to lower case?

    I have two instances of Jenkins.
       In the one instance (not using Active Directory for Security) my address is "firstname.lastname@company.com"
       In the 2nd instance (using Active Directory) my address is: "Firstname.Lastname@company.com"

    Our AD seems to have setup majority of our users with Capitalization....
