Please use the Script Security Realm instead — that plugin now includes the functionality of this plugin.
Archived versions of this plugin remain available for download.

This plugin is a fork of "Script Security Realm" and as the origin it allows you to use a user-written custom script to authenticate the username and password. But in addition it also supports the execution of a second script to resolve the groups for the newly logged in user.

This is useful if you need to plug into a custom authentication scheme, but don't want to write your own plugin.
